Our client is looking for a Senior WebSphere Engineer to manage the WebSphere ND legacy infrastructure and to facilitate migration to an IBM Liberty private cloud offering as a subject matter expert.

You will be based out of their Brussels office and will be required to go into the office 50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

As a WebSphere senior expert, you will guide a team of technology experts in providing day-to-day run support and realising deliveries in line with the technology roadmap. You will work closely with alot of stakeholders (internal customers & service providers) and with the APS teams that provide standardized production support to applicative departments. In this role, you will build and maintain the environments, work on projects together with the infra supplier, architects, vendors and the team to create a vision for a future-proof platform.

Skills needed:

• Experience in managing IBM Websphere (WAS traditional BASE and Liberty v20> (Core, Base):

• • Apache Tomcat
  • Java based applications
  • TLS/SSL
• Extensive experience in Red Hat Linux, scripting, pipeline and networking technology.
• Monitoring JVM performance.
• Familiar with processes like security, Agile way of working, ITIL, Continuous deployment, Disaster Recovery.
• Experience in Terraform, Ansible Tower, Java, CaaS, ServiceNow … are a +.
