As a Senior Data Scientist – Prompt Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing employee productivity by leveraging cutting-edge AI solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders across various business units, understanding their needs and designing effective prompts to optimize AI-generated outputs. You will also be responsible for evaluating AI performance, coaching business users, and helping establish a Prompt Academy to ensure the responsible and effective adoption of AI-driven tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and refine AI prompts to maximize the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated responses across different business scenarios.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to identify where generative AI tools can create value and solve operational challenges.
- Assess the quality and effectiveness of AI outputs, leveraging appropriate metrics and feedback mechanisms.
- Educate and guide employees in using AI tools effectively, establishing best practices, and contributing to the creation of a Prompt Academy.
- Capture insights, document best practices, and communicate findings to drive AI adoption and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in Data Science, AI, or Analytics.
- Expertise in generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Mistral, Llama, and Microsoft Office CoPilot.
- Strong prompt engineering skills, including the ability to design, test, and optimise AI interactions for various business functions.
- A master’s or PhD in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering) or an MBA.
- Excellent business acumen and the ability to translate complex AI capabilities into practical business solutions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is required.
