The Brief

Church International Ltd was proud to be selected as a partner by Viqtor Davis, a highly respected international data innovation and digital transformation company, to consult and provide solutions that complement their ambitious business transformation plans. Viqtor Davis’s Managing Director initiated a comprehensive review of their broader business operations, identifying the need to restructure their sales arm. Our MD, Brian Fitzgerald, worked closely with them to gain a thorough understanding of their existing structure and identify where operational changes could have the greatest impact. Together, we recognised the strategic importance of appointing a new Vice President of Business Development to drive the growth of their UK business. This high-profile role, created and filled at a critical juncture, was a key outcome of our collaboration. Demonstrating trust was vital, and with over 40 years of experience in senior-level recruitment for prominent national and international brands, we drew upon numerous successful examples to secure our client’s confidence.

What We Delivered

Once the role was clearly defined, we worked with Viqtor Davis to develop a carefully curated list of requirements to identify the ideal candidate. Our extensive search efforts quickly yielded a shortlist of 45 high-potential candidates. Through detailed conversations and close collaboration, we further refined the role to ensure it attracted the highest calibre of candidates. This process required agility and responsiveness, which we demonstrated by adapting our shortlisting and selection approach to meet evolving needs. In response to the challenging restrictions at the time, we successfully adapted our processes to facilitate a fair, discreet, and safe interview experience. Coordinating the schedules of senior members of Viqtor Davis’s team, we managed a five-stage interview process, including detailed candidate presentations – all conducted via Zoom. We are delighted to report that our efforts led to the successful placement of a highly deserving candidate, who has now embarked on an exciting career with this dynamic, industry-leading business. The entire process was completed in just over four weeks.

 

Following this success, Viqtor Davis entrusted us with an additional aspect of their restructuring, seeking our expertise to manage their growing sales team in light of the new IR35 legislation. Leveraging our existing legal and compliance expertise, we developed a bespoke solution that enabled Viqtor Davis to outsource the entire operation to us. We took a detailed brief, identified that an Associate Model best suited their needs, and engaged individually with their sales team members to ensure full IR35 compliance. Many opted to sign a Master Service Agreement with Church International Ltd, allowing us to take ownership of key deliverables and provide the client with the flexibility to scale their workforce as needed. This also gave both the client and their sales team peace of mind, knowing that we were managing the compliance process.
