Flexible working is becoming more common in the financial sector, with employees now spending 39 per cent of their time working remotely. But 84 per cent believe access to better technology would improve their productivity, according to research commissioned by Intercity Technology. Seven out of ten employees believe using a device of their own choosing has a positive impact on the way they work with colleagues, with the key benefits identified as improved flexibility (cited by 51 per cent of this group), productivity (42 per cent), and collaboration (33 per cent).
