As an Infrastructure – Operational Security Engineer focusing on Linux, you will join the ProdSec team, where your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the security and stability of Linux systems.
Responsibilities:
- Patch Management: Analyse emergency patches, identify impacted assets, and manage the patching of Linux systems.
- System Hardening: Apply the latest hardening standards and automate configurations and controls to enhance system security.
- Vulnerability Fixing: Identify vulnerabilities, estimate the impact of mitigations, automate solutions, and apply fixes.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Extensive experience with RHEL 7, 8, and 9 is essential. Proficiency in Ansible, Bash, and Python is also required.
- A minimum of 6 years in a relevant role, demonstrating your ability to handle complex security challenges
- A bachelor’s degree in IT along with a mandatory RHEL certification.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English are mandatory. Proficiency in Dutch and French is a plus.
- The ideal candidate will be a team player with a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Autonomy, commitment, and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment are also essential.
This role is based in Brussels and requires you to be onsite for 50% of the time.
